Trinity Manor is an ever-changing environment of vibrancy and life enriching experiences where we celebrate the passions of elders and share experiences.
Dining in style
Experience a full dining service at Trinity Manor, with a choice of menus all offering sumptuous and nutritious meals prepared by our in-house chef.
A full dining service is available with a choice of menus, including international and seasonal cuisines. Sumptuous, nutritious, good quality meals are prepared by our in-house chef. Beverages including beer, wine and sherry are served with meals. Friends and family are welcome to purchase meals and dine together with their elder. Special occasions can be hosted in our cafe, by arrangement.
We respect and celebrate the powerful bond between Elders and their personal pets. We have recognised that there are people in the community who need nursing care, but will refuse on account of having to give up their beloved animal. To help people and pets get the care they need, we welcome companion pets with Elders.
There are requirements the companion pets must meet. These requirements ensure the safety and happiness of every living being in our home.
We also welcome visiting pets into our home. We do ask that all visiting pets have current vaccinations and health checks. Pet owners keep in mind that we do have a variety of pets in our home including cats, dogs, birds, and rabbits.
Religious services are provided by our community volunteers and clergy. We welcome Elders from any denomination. Services are held in our multipurpose room/chapel regularly. Dates for services are included in our activity calendar. Our volunteers are dedicated to ensuring that the Elders have many choices for religious services and activities. Weekly hymn songs, gospel music, bible study, Catholic communion, Rosary, and devotions are just some of the activities the Elders regularly have to choose from. Special services are also offered for religious holidays and observances such as Christmas and Easter.
With the addition of living things, comes life itself. “There is no better place to live, but in a garden.” Elders have opportunities to share their knowledge, participate in the entire process and share the rewards. As a result, there are many opportunities for family members to volunteer their time in our gardens while they visit with Elders. We encourage everyone to participate.
Life Enriching Activities
Participation is the key
Our Trinity Manor community is full of vibrancy and life enriching experiences for our elders. They enjoy the company of others in an ever-changing environment, where their value is appreciated, respected and acknowledged. Everyone has hidden talents and particular pereferences. We celebrate the passions of our elders by encouraging them to share experiences within our Trinity Manor community.
Our lifestyle team customises each elder’s plan to include different skill and awareness levels. From games and morning exercise, to easy listening music and relaxation therapy, there is something for everyone. Our elders enjoy activities including games, yoga, crafts, musical entertainment, parties, cooking, movies, afternoon tea, happy hour, exercise, manicures, bowls, and much more. Outings include fairs, picnics, concerts, restaurants and shopping trips on our Trinity Manor bus. Recognising that our elders have much to offer, we incorporate opportunities for them to give care, as well as receive it, by volunteering for community support roles that help people to stay feeling useful and valued.
There are educational opportunities in our home for everyone. Trinity Manor care partners and guest speakers share their knowledge with the Elders, care partners and community members.
By arrangement, we are able to provide personal escorts to transport elders to physician and care appointments outside Trinity Manor. Undercover parking is available for family and friends who come to visit. Residents are welcome to take accompanied social leaves of absence and we encourage families to visit often.
We have an intergenerational program with local kindergarten and schools. Children from the daycare centre enjoy spending their time in the visiting and interacting with the Elders. Many Elders like to visit the daycare to read at story time. An extra pair of “grandma’s hands” is always needed and appreciated.
Our massage therapist specialises in relaxation massage and aromatherapy for Elders. Elders can relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of massage in our wellness room or in the privacy of their room.
Beauty / Barber Shop
The Trinity Manor beauty/barber shop is open by appointment. Our beautician also makes herself available for special occasions and after hours if needed. Elders may also make arrangements for colouring and permanents for an additional charge. All beauty/barber shop appointments are to be scheduled through the Lifestyle team.
